Greenland Heli Skiing

This is the most remote heli skiing operation you will experience. On the East Coast of Greenland is the region of Angmagssalik. The ice filled fjords and surrounding ocean pack ice make the area inaccessible until the summer months by boat. It is a skier's dream, a landscape of stunning peaks towering over crystal blue ocean fjords and an archipelago of granite islands. Here you’ll have the opportunity to ski up to 1000 meter descents down to frozen fjords and towering icebergs.

Ski to Ice filled Fjords

The skiing is on islands which formed as the Icecap retreated leaving an archipelago of granite islands. The ski runs are between 800 meters and 1100 meters long. Skiing down toward large icebergs and picking on the water’s edge is what makes this region unique.

Exploration

This could be called 'expedition' style heli skiing. You’ll have the chance to explore the archipelago of granite islands. You will also go deep up the fjords in search of amazing lines. There may be opportunities to check out small Inuit Villages on the way.

Inuit Village

Aside from the skiing, perhaps just the experience of a trip to Greenland will leave you in awe. You will stay nearby one of the last of Greenland's hunter gatherer communities and get to experience their culture.
