The Kamchatka Peninsula has the greatest concentration of active volcanoes anywhere on earth. In addition there is a multitude of thermal and mineral springs and geysers.
The Kamchatka Peninsula is the combined size of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. With a population of less than half a million, most who live in the capital Petropavlovsk, it is a wild and untamed landscape. You will ski different slopes every day, exploring an area of 15,000 square km.
The mountains are massive and so too is the terrain. Some of the runs you will experience are very, very long. With huge relief coming straight from the ocean, you can ski right down to the beach.
